Managing Assigned Channels
This section covers the creation, modification, and deletion of Assigned Channels. The following attributes apply to Assigned Channels:
*Only Admins may create Assigned Channels.
*Only Admins may edit or delete Assigned Channels.
*When logged-in to ICE, Assigned Channels always appear at the top of the Channels list.
*When operating in Tactical mode, Assigned Channels are not available and do not appear.
*Users may turn Assigned Channels on or off on their own devices without effecting other users.
Other channel types, such as Intercom and Tactical channels are created and managed by users and instructions for managing them are located in the ICE Mobile and ICE Desktop user guides.
Note: Admins control the default configuration settings applied when new Intercom Channels are created. Users are not required to enter IP addresses, they only need to specify the users they want on their Intercom Channel.
