Editing Failover Server Groups
The settings at the top of each Server Group in ICE control the election process that enables the system to determine when a Standby Server should become the active leader in the group.
To edit a Failover Server Group
1. Navigate to any Server Group in ICE. For example: Settings > Patch Servers.
2. In the Server Group settings at the top of the Group, make the following modifications:
A. Election Rallypoint
Select the Rallypoint that member servers in this group use for elections.
Select the Rallypoint that member servers in this group use for elections.
N-1MajorityNoneC. IGMP Address
Enter the IGMP Multicast group address that member servers in this group use for elections. When available, Multicast operates as an adjunct communication channel to the selected Rallypoint.
Enter the IGMP Multicast group address that member servers in this group use for elections. When available, Multicast operates as an adjunct communication channel to the selected Rallypoint.
D. Port
Enter the IGMP Multicast port for the IGMP Address above.
Enter the IGMP Multicast port for the IGMP Address above.
3. Click Save to apply your changes.
