![]() | Each Codec in ICE is represented by a value that ICE presents to the Radio System. However, not all Radio Systems use the same value to represent a Codec, resulting in a Codec mismatch and either no audio or garbled audio. ICE provides a means to correct Codec mismatch in the Advanced Settings section of each channel page. If you are using a Radio System with one of the mappings listed in the Interoperability menu (below), and you are using one of the Codecs listed in the Codec Value Translation Table, then you should select your radio type from the Interoperability menu. ![]() ICE converts the Rx and Tx payload types to the type required by the specified radio system type. However, only the codecs listed in the Codec Value Translation table are supported. By default, Interoperability is set at Default (no translation). |
