NEXEDGE Radio System
Use the following instructions to create a NEXEDGE Radio System interface in ICE.
To create a NEXEDGE Radio System
1. Navigate to the System > Radio Interoperability > Kenwood NEXEDGE > Radio Systems tab.
2. Click the Add '+' icon in the bottom right corner, and then click Create Radio System.
3. In the Name field, enter a name for this Radio System.
4. In the Description field, optionally enter a description.
5. In the Hostname/IP Address field, enter the hostname or address the Radio System will connect with.
6. In the Port field, enter the port number the Radio System will connect with.
7. In IP Gateway Number, enter the IP address of the Gateway device (typically a router) that connects your local network to all other networks (including the Internet). This value is configured on the radio system.
8. In the System Code field, enter the unique identifier for your Radio System. This value is configured on the radio system.
9. In the Site Class menu, select from the following options:
A. Global
Internet-wide.
Internet-wide.
B. Local
A local area network such as a city or business.
A local area network such as a city or business.
C. Regional
A large defined network such as for a country or nation.
A large defined network such as for a country or nation.
10. Click the Save button.
