Creating a P25 encryption key
Creating and editing an encryption key is essentially identical.
To create a P25 encryption key
1. Navigate to the Settings > Radio Interoperability > P25 Interoperability > Key Management page.
2. Click the Add '+' icon in the lower right corner and then click Create P25 Encryption Key.
3. In the Create P25 Encryption Key panel, enter the appropriate data in each field.
A. Name: Provide a name to identify this key in ICE.
B. Description: Provide a brief explanation of the key's purpose.
C. Algorithm: Select from DES or AES.
D. Key ID: Enter a Key ID for this key. Requires a number between 1 and 65,535.
E. Storage Location: Provide the storage location number for this Key. Requires a number between 1 and 4,095.
F. Key Data: Paste the key data. Must be a 16-character hexadecimal value.
4. Click the Save button.
