Creating an LDAP Service Account
The LDAP Service Account is used for LDAP operations in which the ICE Server itself needs to query the directory service. The following LDAP features require an LDAP Service Account to function.
Service Account are Required For:
*Bulk Import
*User login with CAC/PIV Card
*When using UPN subdomains
To create an LDAP service account
1. Navigate to the Settings > Organization > Authentication tab.
2. In the Select Authentication Mechanism menu, ensure LDAP is already selected.

3. In LDAP Service Account, specify an account for the ICE Server to use for accessing the LDAP or Active Directory systems.
4. Enable Use service account when accessing LDAP.
5. In Username, enter the username for the service account on the LDAP Server.
6. In Password, enter the password associated with the account.
7. Click the Save button.
