Desktop: Activating a License while Offline
Note: This process requires a mobile device with internet access. The ICE Mobile app does not need to be installed on the mobile device.
To activate a desktop license offline
1. Open ICE Desktop and navigate to the Settings > Tactical page.
2. In the Tactical License Activation section, complete the following:
A. In the License Key field, enter the license key.
B. Select Offline? Activate with a mobile device.
The Activation QR Code window opens displaying a QR code. Leave this window open.
The Activation QR Code window opens displaying a QR code. Leave this window open.
3. Perform the following operations on a mobile device with internet access:
A. Use the camera or a utility app to scan the QR code displayed on the desktop.
B. Open the URL associated with the QR code. It should launch in a web browser.
C. In the browser, locate the Activation Code below the QR code.
4. Return to the ICE Desktop machine and perform the following:
A. In the Activation QR Code popup, click Next.
B. Enter the activation code.
C. Click Activate.
The QR code window closes and the license activates.
