The DFSI Gateways screen allows for the creation, editing, and deletion of P25 DFSI Gateway Groups and DFSI Gateways. Digital Fixed Station Interface (DFSI) is a P25 protocol for connecting conventional P25 base stations or repeaters to local radio communication networks. ICE supports integration with P25 base stations and repeaters through DFSI Gateways.

DFSI Gateways are encapsulated in Failover Groups. Each Group relies on an election process to determine which DFSI Gateway is active and routing data. If one Gateway fails, another takes over.
