Operating the Map
To open the map, click the Map icon in the ICE Desktop toolbar.
The map displays a rendering of global geography with selections for layers. Zoom and drag operate as expected for a mapping window.
Viewing Channel Member Locations
You can view the locations of the device of each active member of a channels, if GPS is enabled on the device. To do so, click the Map icon on the Channels screen.
To see user locations, select a channel from the channel list. The map displays the location of the devices of active users for the selected channel.
Configuring Location Options
By default, the map displays your approximate location as determined by network.
To configure location options
1. Navigate to Settings > Location.
The Location Sharing window opens.
The Location Sharing window opens.
Note: The coordinates shown below the menu indicate the location you are currently broadcasting.
2. In the Share my location with others menu, select from the following options:
A. Automatically: Network based location
B. Using a location I specify: Manually set location
C. Never: Does not send location updates
