Messaging
The Messaging tab provides access to a list of your conversations.
A conversation is a single thread of text messages and/or attachments sent between the members of that conversation only.
Conversation membership is based on either a Channel or a Group of users.

Group conversations (denoted by the People icon) exist only between the users that were specified when the conversation was initiated. New users cannot be invited to an existing Group conversation.

Channel conversations (denoted by the Channel icon) exist between all users on a channel. Users removed from a channel lose access to the conversation. Users added to a channel begin receiving messages but do not receive old messages.
Messaging Tab Operations
*View a list of recent and ongoing conversations for selection.
*View a count of unread messages (red dot) per conversation.
*Search for conversations by channel or people names. (Search does not include the contents of messages).
*Click a conversation to open its message thread.
*Click the New Message button to start a new conversation with members you select.
