Setting Background Permissions
ICE Mobile requires permission to run in the background. If ICE Mobile is not granted this permission, then critical operations such as data streaming may be limited or terminated when the application is not in the foreground. Use the following procedure to ensure ICE Mobile can run in the background.
To allow ICE Mobile background permission on Android
1. Open Settings: Swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the gear icon to access the settings.
2. Tap Apps or Applications.
3. Tap Instant Connect Enterprise to open the app settings.
4. Tap Battery.
5. Select the Allow background activity or Unrestricted option to ensure the app can run in the background without restrictions.
To allow ICE Mobile background permission on iOS
1. Open Settings: Tap the Settings app on your home screen.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap Background App Refresh.
4. Enable Background App Refresh: You can choose to enable it for Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi & Mobile Data, or turn it off completely. Make sure it’s set to either Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi & Mobile Data.
5. In the list of apps, ensure the Instant Connect Enterprise application is toggled on.
