Overview
This document walks through the process of upgrading an ICE 3.5.1 or 3.6.0 Server to version 3.6.5. The content in this document related to 3.5 upgrades will be called out. Assume all steps are required unless identified.
Upgrade considerations:
*When upgrading to 3.6.5, the ICE OS Installation Wizard will generate a certstore and a new set of unique certificates. They will be automatically provisioned throughout your system. You have the option to replace them with your own certificates as needed.
*If you are deploying ICE in geographic or multi-node configurations with more than one ICE Server, then you must create your own certstore and upload it to each ICE Server using Rallypoints. The autogenerated
*In ICE 3.6.5, each ICE Server requires its own certstore. To reconfigure the system to use the correct certstore, create a new certstore and then apply this certstore to all ICE Server systems with Rallypoint connections.
*Initial RallyPoints are created and registered automatically.
*When a RallyPoint or static reflector is deleted via ICE Desktop, whether intentionally or on accident, they will reappear after ~30 seconds.
*If the ICE Server IP address is updated, then refer to the Update RallyPoint(s) when the ICE Server IP address changes section of the ICE Desktop User Guide for additional steps to perform.
