ICE Georedundant Server 3.5 to 3.6.5 Post-Upgrade
After upgrading from 3.5.0, the DC1 and DC2 servers like Rallypoint, Patch, Reflector & Telephony will reside in their own group. Each group will have one member server. If you wish to regroup your member servers into a single cross-DC group, then designate one of the groups as default and delete the opposite group. This will cause the internal member server to recreate itself inside the default group.
After upgrading, all RallyPoint Servers, Patch Servers, and Static Reflectors require address modification. This is typically done by deleting the component and allowing the ICE Server to recreate it using the updated data. There is, however, one other factor to consider, and that is the order of deletion of servers
In ICE version 3.6, RallyPoints, Patches, and Static Reflectors all operate in Groups and follow a server election process to determine the active server in the Group. Because of this, the order they are deleted can affect the stability of the other servers in their Group.
