Creating a Bulk User Import .CSV File
To create a bulk import .CSV file, you can use any standard text editor to enter the data and save the file as a .CSV. This section explains how to create the .CSV file from user data. When completed, ICE will allow access to any user with the associated email address and password. For this reason, neither are automatically disseminated, and should only be distributed to the correct personnel according to the security policies of your organization.
To create a channel bulk user import .CSV file
1. Open a text editor.
2. Copy and paste the following import template into the text editor.

3. Duplicate the Username row and change the properties as needed.
4. REQUIRED HEADERS
At minimum, the following headers must appear at the top of your .CSV file. Each must be delimited by a comma. Modify the following required channel properties as follows:
LOGIN NAMEName of the account. ICE Requires this name to be in the form of an email address, and although you can create users with non-email-address names, ICE will not allow them to log in until the names have been changed to email address format.
FIRST NAMESpecifies the first name of the user as it will appear whenever full names are in use.
LAST NAME:Specifies the last name of the user as it will appear whenever full names are in use.
PASSWORD:Specifies the first password for the user. If password is left blank, a default value is assigned and displayed on the screen.
5. OPTIONAL HEADERS
The following headers are available for use as needed:
