Creating an ICE Lite Child License
ICE Lite is the smallest version of ICE Server, deploying with minimal requirements for memory, storage, and cores. All ICE Lite deployments require an ICE Lite License.
Instructions for deploying an ICE Lite Server are available in the ICE Server Installation Guide. This section provides instructions for creating an ICE Lite Child License from an existing ICE license. You can also request ICE Lite licenses from Instant Connect Support.
Follow the same instructions in Creating a Child License but activate Lite Mode.
Once activated, the Child License created will be an ICE Lite license. ICE Lite deployments are limited to the following features and counts.
*Desktop clients: 23
*Language translation channels: 10
*MELPe codec: Unlimited
*Mobile clients: 25
*Patch Administrators: 5
*Voice Port Channels: 25
Note: Max quantities are also dependent on feature availability on the Parent server. If you exceed Count limitations, the system will notify you of the range.
