ICE Components
This section defines requirements for the standard non-server components of ICE.
This section provides a reference to the supported versions and requirements of the various components used in the deployment and operation of ICE version 3.6.6.
Important: The values below are not the recommended values, they are the minimum values. Additional cores and/or RAM will increase speed. Additional drive memory will increase recording capacity. Use this section to establish the baseline you can deploy on if you have no choice, but always endeavor to upgrade when possible.

 Version Compatibility: | ICE Desktop is not backwards compatible with previous versions of ICE Server. The Desktop/Server versions should match. Older versions may appear functional, but should not be used. | |||||

ICE Gateway Host Machine Minimum Requirements
Applies to Telephony, ISSI, and DFSI components. | |||||

USB Dongle | A hardware USB key (dongle) is required for operation of a DFSI or ISSI Gateway. The key must be inserted into the Host VM in a USB port accessible to ICE. (Not required for Telephony). | ||||
Docker | Docker must be installed on the VM. Docker is not pre-installed or automatically installed. For instructions on deploying Docker refer to: https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/. | ||||
NTP Enabled | Network Time Protocol (NTP) must be enabled on any host running an ICE Gateway for DFSI, ISSI or Telephony. NTP ensures Gateways remain synchronized with the same time source as all other ICE components (ICE Server, ICE Desktop Clients, ICE Gateways). | ||||
ICE Server API Key | The API key for your ICE Server will be required during configuration. It can be copied from the ICE Desktop > Settings > License > API Key tab. | ||||

LDAP AD LDS Supported Versions
ICE Supports integration with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Active Directory (AD), and Lightweight Directory Services (LDS) via the following operating systems.
