Requirements

Prior to installation, use the instructions in this section to ensure the host platform meets the minimum hardware and software requirements.

Hardware and Software

The ICE Desktop client PC must meet the following minimum requirements:

Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit operating system (or newer)

4 CPU cores

8GB RAM

1GB of free HDD space

One instance of ICE Desktop can be open on a client PC at a time. Any number of Instant Connect users can use the same ICE Desktop on a client PC, but not concurrently.

Version Compatibility

Desktop / Server
ICE Desktop 3.6.5 is not backwards compatible with previous versions of ICE Server. If you are using an older version of ICE Server, then use the compatible ICE Desktop of the same version. Mixed-version systems may appear functional, but should not be used.
