Adding Tactical Channels
Use the following procedure to create and add a Tactical Channel to a Mission.
To add channels to a Mission
1. In the lower right corner of the Mission, click the Add '+' icon'

The Create Tactical Channel page opens.
2. Configure the following channel options for the new channel.

Channel Details Section
Name
Enter a name for the Channel. The channel name does not need to be unique but it should be descriptive for users. Do not use extremely long mission or channel names if the mission file will shared via QR code. The amount of data allowed in a QR code is limited.
Description
Optionally, enter a brief description of the channel.
Connection Section
Automatic channel identification
When selected, an auto-generated GUID is used by the system to identify this channel. When unselected, the system relies on the Channel ID value displayed on screen.
Channel ID
Only appears when Automatic channel identification is off. Displays the GUID used by the system to identify this channel for copy or modification.
Inheritable Settings:
If Use mission connection settings for all audio channels is selected in the Mission Settings, then the following fields inherit their settings from the Mission Control Channel. Addresses are incremented. The RallyPoint is identical.
RallyPoint
Enables or disables the use of RallyPoint on the channel. If enabled, enter the address and port of the RallyPoint.
Receive Address:
Multicast address and port on which audio is received for the channel. The transmit and the receive multicast address and port combinations can be the same, but do not need to be.
Transmit Address:
Multicast address and port on which audio is transmitted for the channel. The transmit and the receive multicast address and port combinations can be the same, but do not need to be.
Encryption Section
Encryption
Enables or disables encryption on the channel.
Generate new authenticator
Generates a new encryption key.
Speaker Section
Speaker Volume
Drag the slider bar to increase or decrease the volume of this channel. Volume on other channels may be different.
Speaker
Speaker: Select the speaker that plays audio from the channel for the your device.
Microphone Section
Microphone
Select the microphone used for channel audio input.
Advanced Settings
Header Extension Toggle
Enables or disables header extensions. When enabled, the system allows header extensions on packets to include additional data about the transmitting user.
Full Duplex Toggle
Enables or disables full duplex mode. When enabled, a party on the channel can send and receive audio at the same time.
Codec
Select the audio codec to that the channel uses.
Interoperability
Frame Size
Select the size of audio frames that are transmitted on the network.
RTP TTL
Specify the time to live for audio packets. The default is 64.
Limit Transmit:
Enables or disables transmission limitations. When enabled, enter the number of seconds the that a user can transmit audio during a single PTT activity.
Alias
Enter an alias to identify the channel on radio system or communication software that support an alias.
