Logging in to ICE Mobile
ICE provides two modes of operation: Enterprise Mode and Tactical Mode. You can log in to ICE Mobile in Enterprise mode, or you can launch ICE Mobile in Tactical Mode without logging in.
Enterprise Mode LoginLogging in to Enterprise Mode connects you with an ICE Server and provides you with access to features that Tactical Mode does not. For example, Assigned Channels, Intercom Channels, and Messaging features are only available in Enterprise Mode.
Tactical Mode LaunchTactical Mode occurs when you tap Continue without Login. In this state, ICE Mobile is not connected with a server and broadcasts multicast transmissions across the local network. There is no login required. See Understanding Tactical Mode
Note: On first launch or login, a series of prompts appear requesting permission for ICE Mobile to access various systems. Tap Allow for these requests according to the policies of your organization. If you tap Deny for a request, the functionality of ICE Mobile will be hindered. See Permissions Settings.
