Sending Alerts
Alert transmission can be initiated from two different locations, but with different recipients. Alerts sent from a Channel Panel go to all users on that channel, and no one else. Alerts sent from the Selected Channel Alert button go to all users on all selected channels, and no one else.
*Single/Multichannel Alerts
All Alerts can be sent to a single channel, or to multiple channels simultaneously.
*Single Channel Alerts are sent from the Channel menu in each Channel Panel.
*Multi-Channel Alerts are sent from the Selected Channel Alert button in the bottom right corner of the screen.

ICE Mobile supports the following types of alerts:
*Audio Alerts
Transmit an audio message from a menu of existing messages.
*Message Alerts
Transmit a message and/or attachment.
Important: Alerts are only supported in Enterprise Mode and are not available in Tactical Mode.
To send an audio alert
1. In the Home > Channels tab, select the channel(s) to receive the alert.
2. At the bottom of the screen, tap the Alerts button and then tap Audio Alerts.

3. Tap to select the audio alert to transmit.
The alert transmits over all selected channels, and a success/fail notification appears at the bottom of the screen.
To send a message alert
1. In the Home > Channels tab, select the channel(s) to receive the alert.
2. At the bottom of the screen, tap the Alerts button and then tap Message Alerts.

The Message Alert to 'Channel Name' menu opens.
3. Perform one of the following actions:
A. Tap the Send icon to transmit a message immediately.
B. Tap the Custom Alert Edit icon and create a custom message. See To send a custom Message Alert.
C. Tap the Edit icon to edit an existing message before sending.
4. The alert transmits, and a success/fail notification appears at the bottom of the screen.
To send a single-channel Message Alert
1. In the Home > Channels tab, click the Channel Menu of the channel to receive the alert.

The Message Alert list opens.
2. Tap Send to send an alert.
The alert goes out over this channel only, regardless of channel selection.
To send a custom Message Alert
1. In the Home > Channels tab, select the channel(s) to receive the alert.
2. At the bottom of the screen, tap the Alerts button and then tap Message Alerts.

The Message Alert list opens.
3. Select Custom Alert.
4. In Title, enter the title of the alert as it will appear to users.
5. In Message, enter your message.
6. Tap the Send button.
The alert transmits, and a success/fail notification appears at the bottom of the screen.
