Troubleshooting
Use the following table to identify and correct common issues.
ISSUE
ACTIONS
Menu > Home > Channels does not display any channels.
Check network connection.
Menu > Home > Channels Search does not find any channels.
Check network connection.
Cannot set channel color.
If the color of an Assigned Channel was specified when the channel was created, then only and administrator can change the color. If the color was left at default (blue), then any user may change it.
Cannot find a specific user in a People Search.
Check network connection.
No cellular connection.
Switch to wifi. This should occur automatically but can be set in Specifying Network Connection.
No WIF connection
Switch to cellular. This should occur automatically but can be set in Specifying Network Connection.
No radio connection.
Check connection to the radio.
No peripheral connection
ICE Mobile supports a variety of peripheral devices for audio and PTT. Consult the instructions for your peripheral device to pair and configure your device. See:
The Volume hardware controls are not changing the volume of ICE audio.
For ICE channel audio, the phone hardware volume buttons are codependent on the 'Media' and 'Phone' volumes. As a result, the hardware volume rocker may not change the channel volume, or may change it to an imperceptible degree.
Use the on-screen volume controls in any channel panel to adjust the volume for that channel.
