Creating a New Mission
Creating a new Mission file allows you to share the Mission with other users. The Mission file can be shared via scanning a QR code, or by loading the Mission file from email or directory on the client device.
To create a new Mission
1. Navigate to Settings > Tactical > Missions.
2. Click the Plus Sign in the Missions Desktop and then click New Mission.
A new untitled mission opens on the Missions screen.
3. Click the Edit (pencil) icon.
The Mission configuration page opens.
4. Perform the following actions in the Edit Mission box:

Name
Enter a name for the mission. The mission name does not need to be unique but it should be descriptive for users. Do not use extremely long mission or channel names if the mission file will shared via QR code. The amount of data that is allowed is a QR code is limited.
Description
Optionally enter a description of the mission.
PIN
Enter a PIN to lock the Mission. After saving, any attempts to edit this Mission or its channels will require this PIN.
Expires on
Select this option if you want the Mission and its Tactical Channels to expire on the date you specify.
Mission Control
The fields below this section allow you to configure the Mission Control Channel.
Automatic channel identification
When selected, an auto-generated GUID is used by the system to identify the Mission Control channel. When unselected, the system relies on the Channel ID value displayed on screen.
Channel ID
Only appears when Automatic channel identification is off. Displays the GUID used by the system to identify this channel for copy or modification.
Generate New ID
Generates a new Channel ID.
RallyPoint
Select to add a RallyPoint to this Mission and then specify the IP and Port.
Receive / Transmit Address
If needed, update the randomly selected IP addresses and ports that appear in the Receive Address and Transmit Address fields.

Use mission connection settings for all audio channels
Select this option to force all new Tactical Channels created in this Mission to inherit their Transmit, Receive, and RallyPoint addresses and ports from the Mission Connection settings, (the two fields above in this color).
Note: If you activate this feature after creating Tactical Channels in the Mission, be aware that existing Tactical Channels will retain their previous settings. All new Tactical Channels will inherit the Mission Control settings.
Encryption
Encryption for the Mission Control channel is enabled by default to ensure the data will not be sent in the clear.
Generate new authenticator
Generates an encryption key that is used to encrypt data communications on the mission control channel. Used when Encryption is enabled. Changing the encryption key without sharing the new encryption key to all other users on the mission will cause interrupted communications
5. Click Save.
After saving the Mission, use the following instructions to add channels.
